Me too. I’d apply it to a turbine so that the pull of the lipstick could generate electricity. Perpetual motion, baby!
I find Lum being a brainy scientist hot. <3 That lab coat. I wish it was covering just her and lingerie. Also. Foe Yay vibes about Sasuke and Naruto kissing resurfaces. Also, rocket dog AND Rocket man. Lmao. Sir Elton John would be proud.
more like saskue and naruto kiss scene was copied from this
Point taken.. The original did come out long before Naruto.
Hehe, one for each lip...
I meant the top lip and bottom lip of your mouth, what did you think?
Ataru clearly not horny enough if he only thought to put the lipstick on his lips, lol.
Just to share that there's a dark book where indeed they use the lipstick.
LOL, that 80s style music. Lum have really good taste in music.
Can't get more 80s than that!
It's more than just 80s style. It's an actual 80s song, according to the copyright year listed in the ending credits (1982). I looked up the song after seeing it listed in the credits. Here it is on YouTube if you're curious: I looked it up after seeing it in the ending credits (which also gave it a copyright of 1982). Here's a link to the song on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/wat...
Just wondering if it was in the original anime?
Cheating with a gramp
We apologize for the sudden graphic content. Please stand by. - Watch Revenger learn from good example
What about Revenger? I don't watch that anime
I can’t believe that Lum’s also a scientist and a vampire.
Funny enough, the manga and the 80s anime had Dracula, and it was that story that first introduced Lum's hatred of garlic.
Of course they were going to make the guys with the lipstick kiss each other. 🤣
who knew lipstick can cause so much chaos. 😆
Ataru having garlic breath reminded me of that episode of spongebob when he had bad breath with his sundae.
🎶 Baby oh baby 🎶
It will be fun - famous last words before death
Really nice Lum in the lab montage at the beginning of the episode, brought some serious 70's-80's vibes with that song. The alien lipstick reminded me of the boxing gloves episode and Lum looks really good with it, too bad her first kiss while trying it out had to be with Ten.
As expected Ataru didn't miss that chance, a lipstick capable of making two (or more) people forcefully kiss as long as both use it, a dreadful weapon in the hands of Moroboshi. Even with Ataru telling Ryunosuke to try the lipstick for the purpose of kissing her, i was happy with the fact that she actually used it, probably won't have good memories with it but at least she got to try using lipstick.
And of course almost the whole class wanted to try it when they heard what the lipstick was capable off, gonna be honest, felt sorry for Ataru, first he kissed Cherry at the very beginning of the episode, and now he kissed Mendo, at least he ignored it right after but still...probably gave him "cave flashbacks".
I missed seeing Lum cooking with her alien tech, prepare those tastebuds Ataru, you're going to Spiceland! Ataru got a taste of his own medicine twice in this second part, Lum was ready to counter Ataru's garlic breath so his plan only ended up ruining his usual girl hunt, and by the end of the episode he found out why he shouldn't ask for unknown alien food.
The whole class somehow thought that adding the worst ingredients wouldn't affect them in particular, even a sandal, enjoy the food poisoning i guess...
Fun episode as usual, karma hit Ataru really hard this time. Looking forward to next episode.
Damn the bisexual lipstick and Audrey II plant eating up Ataru ending up in one episode is wild
Spicy Chom Chomp....
Next time Lum should just put lipstick on Ataru plain and simple lol.
Good episode.
Lum lipstick looks good.
Love how she made it.
4:50 aturu is reading weekly shonen Sunday
What’s the music during Lum’s experiment? I also didn’t know she was a scientist.
Remember her race is way more advanced than earth and she can invent almost anything. Just her cooking is way too strong for earthlings.
I saw she wasn't a good cook.
And she can't do house chores. Ran in opoosite is the perfect housewife.
Yes.
Ikenai Rouge Magic by Imawano Kiyoshirô and Sakamoto Ryûichi, a 1982 song.
Look for 忌野清志郎+坂本龍一 「い・け・な・いルージュマジック」
Was that song also in the original or is it an actual Japanese song?
An actual song. According to Oricon, it was the 20th best selling single in Japan in 1982.
Impressive. Surely this isn’t the only time anime has used licensed music.
It's not unheard of. Depends on budgets.
I wish more anime did that. Movies and TV do it all the time.

She is a good engineer, she build machine and occasionally they DON'T explode
Ah.
I get the ref.
Lol
Really, having never watched the original series. Was she a genius?
She build a lot of machines don't remember for what. In an ova she build a door out of a dimensional key.
Ah.
An engineer mostly
I think so but we always used to see ataru ignoring her that I kinda forgot about her being smart considering this is a comedy
Well.... I know where I would put that lipstick...( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
